Using Cross dissolving
We have been using the affect cross dissolve when editing our work on final cut pro. We decided to use cross dissolve to make the images look as if that are over lapping this also works very well in complimenting the slow motion as the images fade very slowly and softly for one to another. It creates the same affect that the title sequence true detective does as that uses a lot of cross dissolve throughout. We really like the way it looks and also build tension as each images that dissolves to the next cant be seen as clearly at first adding tension and suspense.
